The bungalow, which is of a timber construction, is perfectly situated in a meadow about a mile up river from Bewdley at the point of an old Roman river crossing known locally as Penny Ford. The river can still be forded in dry summer conditions. The position provides that rare combination of peace and tranquillity, (punctuated by the occasional sound of a steam train!) with the ample amenities to be found in Bewley, Stourport and Kidderminster.
